This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Canidae Corporation (“Sponsor” or “Canidae”).This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion should be directed to Sponsor, not Instagram. The Sweepstakes is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”).
Eligibility
This Sweepstakes is open only to those entrants who follow the Sweepstakes Official Rules. Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the 50 United States/D.C and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Canidae, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers, Influencers, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant.
Agreement to Rules
By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept all Sponsor decisions as final and binding as it relates to the Sweepstakes.
Sweepstakes Period
Entries will be accepted online starting on September 10th, 2022 at 10am EDT and ending December 1, 2022 at 12 PM EDT.
How to Enter
An entry requires a user to post a photo of them using the KRS or a picture of their dog with the reusable bag, using hashtag #refillnotlandfill, tagging @canidaepetfood and following @canidaepetfood..
Your profile must be public to win. You may enter as many times as you’d like. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Winner Selection and Notification
ONE winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Canidae, which random drawing will occur on December 2nd. Winner will be notified by Instagram Direct Messaging within five (5) days following selection of Winner. Sponsor shall have no liability for Winner(s) failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner(s)’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner(s) cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within fifteen (15) days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may be forfeited and another Winner(s) selected. Receipt by Winner(s) of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER(S) (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER(S)’ DISQUALIFICATION, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER(S) WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
Odds
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Prize
There will be ONEWinner of the sweeps. The winner will receive FIVE(5) FREE visits to the Kibble Refill Station (in the form of a $250 Petco Gift card (“Prize”) with an approximate retail value of $250.00. No entrant is eligible to receive more than one Prize. The specifics of the Prize shall be solely determined by Sponsor and Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute and/or modify the Prize with (a) prize(s) of equal or greater value for any reason. No cash or other Prize substitution shall be permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The Prize is nontransferable. ANY AND ALL PRIZE-RELATED EXPENSES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND/OR LOCAL TAXES, SHALL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER(S). Sponsor will pay for shipping. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for any postal mail or delivery returned as undeliverable without a forwarding address. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor after Prize has been shipped. Acceptance of Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use Winner(s)’ names, likenesses, and entries for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Cancellation, Termination, Modification or Suspension of the Sweepstakes
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select the Winner(s) from all eligible entries received prior to the action by Sponsor.
Rights Granted by You
The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, elect to use, in whole or in part, any submission materials submitted to this Sweepstakes for its own future advertising and/or promotional activities, without notice or compensation. By submitting such materials, You forfeit any copyright or other rights or claims to same. Submission materials may include, but are not limited to, photos, essays, videos, compilations, etc. as may be applicable.
Submission Materials
You warrant to Sponsor that Your submission materials do not infringe on anyone else’s copyright or other intellectual property. Submission materials must not: (1) contain defamatory words or statements (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a specific race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation); (2) threaten or disparage any person, place, business, or group; (3) invade the privacy or other rights of any person, firm, or entity; (4) contain or reference materials that are in any way unlawful, in violation of or contrary to applicable federal or state laws and regulations where the submission is created; (5) contain materials that are indecent (including but not limited to nudity or pornography), profane, obscene, hateful, tortuous, slanderous or libelous; or (6) contain materials that appear to have been made in an unsafe or unlawful manner (collectively the “Submission Requirements”).Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove any submission materials that are deemed inappropriate according to Sponsor and disqualify any individual who is found by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be in violation of any Submission Requirements.

SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATES AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES AND INFLUENCERS DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. Disputes
This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Delaware without regard to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, You irrevocably agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Connecticut. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall You be permitted to obtain an award for, and hereby waive all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than Your actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes).You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
